St Omer Le Val [plus 9 short holes] 6294 Par 73.Landscape: Hilly parkland Description: Modern layout. Winds along a river valley Facilities: Super clubhouse, good food, even a snooker table! Full
practice facilities as befits a course which hosts a European Tour
event. Our view: Golfers love or hate St Omer.for a range of reasons.
Not an easy-walking course, but excellent condition, especially
after March
Hardelot,The Dunes 5723m Par 72. Landscape: Undulating, tree-lined,despite its name Description: Dog-legs and blind holes add to difficulty Facilities: Driving range and full practice facility, modern clubhouse
serving snacks and full meals, terrace in summer. Boutique. Our view: Maturing all the time. Recent changes to certain
holes make the Dunes more 'visitor-friendly'. For older, or less
fit golfers, walk is quite taxing, in parts.
Hardelot, The Pines 5926, Par 73. Landscape: Tree-lined fairways, quite flat Description: Mature course, deep bunkers Facilities: Driving range, clubhouse serving snacks and full meals,
no evening service. 'Pro-shop'. Our view: Tends to be the popular choice as is a fair test
for all. Is therefore always relatively busy and we recommend an
early tee time, for maximum enjoyment.
Hotel Westminster Le Touquet **** 115
rooms. A 'top' hotel. All rooms fully equipped to a very high
standard. Located just a couple of minutes on foot from the main
street through the town.2 Restaurants, bar, piano lounge, indoor pool and sauna and parking. Do not contemplate this
hotel, if you are a group with less than exemplary behaviour!

Hippotel, Le Touquet** 62 rooms/studios. Around a kilometre from the town centre, in a wooded
position, close to the equestrian complex, this is an inexpensive
option, and welcomes groups. Rooms are relatively simple, all having
en-suite shower & WC facilities and sleeping 2,3 or 4 guests.Buffet breakfast room, restaurant & bar. Free parking close
by.English channels on TV.

rooms. Right in the heart of the 'action'. Affords all usual
bedroom/bathroom comforts, but no bar on-site. Is a regular haunt of many a

Le Touquet, La Mer 6275m Par 72. Landscape: Open links course, few trees Description: Undulating and a real challenge if its windy Facilities: . Small pro-shop with hot and cold snacks. La Mer is away from the clubhouse.

Mer stands the test of time and still challenges the best golfers.

Arras, La Vallee 6117, Par 72. (also short 9 hole course) Landscape: Attractive parkland in river valley Description: Well maintained, some water hazards. Facilities: Excellent Clubhouse facilities and restaurant. Terrace
overlooking the river valley. Pro-shop and good practice facilities,
as befits a LPGA tour venue. Our view: Good location, as hotel and golf on same site.
Easy access and close to Arras centre.
Belle Dune 5883m, Par 71. Landscape: Part forest, part links Description: Delightful natural surroundings Buggies: Few buggies & electric trolleys Facilities: Small clubhouse building with few changing facilities.
Food and drinks, terrace in summer. Full practice facilities. Adjacent
swimming pool complex. Our view: Most visitors love Belle Dune. Always in good
shape and the setting IS pretty. Has got very busy. Some long walks

Nampont St Martin, Les Cygnes 6051m Par 72.Landscape: Flat, natural wetlands Description: Water creates the course's architecture Buggies: Few buggies Facilities: New clubhouse, with restaurant. Original lake practice
range. Out view: Plays at its best April to September, depends
on rainfall. Quaint chateau as backdrop. Less commercialised than
other clubs.
