Lying south of the Fontainebleau forest about an hour's drive south of Paris and bordered to the south by the Loire, this refined 18th century chateau can offer a complete stay. Some rooms are in the chateau iteslf, others in the beautifully reastored farmhouse. Braserie and bar food at lunchtime and in the evening fine dining in Les Saules restarant or on the terrace. The estate offers plenty of outdoor activities, inclunding swimming, tennis, mountain biking, horse riding and has a modest health club with sauna. The Golf course is set amongst the estate's mature woodland of Oaks and Willows, Maples and Cyprusses. Dating from 1987, its design works harmoniously with the landscape, undulating in parts and with some natural water hazards. Unlimited golf is available to residents in certain packages.
